Based on the challenges posed globally by COVID-19 pandemic and considering its implications to our country, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has taken the following important decisions, in the best public interest, regarding its examinations scheduled from March 2020 to September 2020:
- AFC Examinations – Spring 2020 scheduled to be held from 16 March 2020 and initially postponed through ICAP’s earlier announcement dated 14 March 2020, are now cancelled.
Examinees who had registered for these examinations will have option either to apply for the refund of the examination fees or carry forward this amount to the immediate next examination session.
- CFAP & MSA Examinations – Summer 2020 scheduled to be held from 8 June 2020 are being rescheduled and will now be held from 22 June 2020.
The last date for submission of examination forms has also been extended for further two weeks.
- AFC Examinations – Summer 2020 scheduled to be held from 20 June 2020 are being rescheduled and will now be held from 29 June 2020.
The last date for submission of examination forms has also been extended for further two weeks.
- CAF Examinations – Autumn 2020 will be held as per schedule from 7 September 2020.
ICAP will continue to monitor the developing situation and will apprise the students in advance where any change is deemed necessary.
