The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is arranging a CA ELOCUTION CONTEST 2020 for trainee students who have passed CAF examinations and are currently enrolled as Trainees and are less than 27 years of age on 31st December, 2019. Winners of CA Elocution & Quiz Contest will represent ICAP in SAFA Elocution Contest 2020 on February 08, 2020 in Islamabad.
This contest will allow students to gain more knowledge, improve their performance and communication skills. The competition will also provide an opportunity to students to network, make global connections and gauge their worth amongst competitive trainees from SAFA region. Travelling and exposure to youth from different cultures will augment the richness of students’ technical, analytical skills and overall personality.
Each participant would be given 10 minutes for the presentation on any of the below topic, a warning bell will ring at the end of the eight minute, signaling the contestant to conclude the discussion in another two minutes;
Topics:
- Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and Role of professional accountants
- Data Analytics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence/Blockchain/ Robotics (any one area to be chosen by students)
- Role of Finance Professionals in Audit Committee
